John F. Devaney Scholarship

The Fr. Wm Corby Division offers an annual Scholarship in Honor of John F. Devaney. Applicants must be registered members of St. Mary of Sorrows Parish in Fairfax, Virginia or a child, grandchild, or spouse of a member of the Fr. Corby Division. Scholarships are to be used for tuition only in the pursuit of post-secondary school education. The applicant’s outstanding inspirational contribution, active involvement in civic and/or religious activities, participation in extracurricular school activities, and academic endeavor are consideration factors in awarding the scholarship. Applications and related transcript materials must be received not later than May 15th of each year. Applications become available in February of each year online and at the St. Mary of Sorrows Parish Center Office in Fairfax.

Additionally, the annual Kelly Elizabeth Baker Memorial and KofC Scholarships are offered in February of each year and due May 15th through St. Mary of Sorrows. Applications become available online and at the St. Mary of Sorrows Parish Center Office in Fairfax.
